Biography
Dr Nitzan Peri-Rotem is a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology, University of Exeter and a former Research Associate at ReproSoc. Her research involves the ways in which fertility patterns are shaped by social and cultural factors. Her recent projects include the role of lifestyle factors in explaining fertility differences by education (funded by the Understanding Society Biomarker Data Fellowship). In addition, she is interested in ethno-religious barriers to seeking treatment for infertility in the UK and the intersection between cultural background and sexual health and well-being.
